BOTOX, XEOMIN, DYSPORT

We offer the following neuromodulators: Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau and Xeomin.

Neuromodulators are a purified protein that blocks receptors at nerve endings, preventing release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, thereby preventing muscle contraction. Neuromodulators are used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing the muscles of the face into which it is injected, and to prevent future wrinkles.

It takes from 10-14 days to see optimum results for Neuromodulators. You may require additional units at a subsequent follow-up visit within two weeks to obtain the goals we have discussed.

DERMAL FILLERS (JUVEDERM, REVANESSE VERSA, RADIESSE, RESTYLANE)

Dermal Fillers are injected under the skin using the small needle or blunt tip microcannula to ‘plump’ it out from beneath, to soften fine line or wrinkle, or to replace volume lost.  Most Dermal Fillers are made from a naturally occurring constituent of the skin, called Hyaluronic Acid. This is a gel like substance, in which the collagen and elastin fibers normally sit, giving the skin its elasticity and resilience. It is produced artificially and cross linked to make it last longer. It is naturally, gradually and completely removed by the body over a period of time.

The product usually lasts from several months to up to few years, depending on where it is injected, the type of product used, and other lifestyle factors.  Hyaluronic Acid products can, if necessary, be dissolved using an enzyme, called Hyaluronidase.

Olga Nazarov, PA-C uses a number of hyaluronic acid fillers, including  Juvéderm Ultra, Juvéderm Volbella, Juvederm Vollure and  Juvederm Voluma, Belotero, and Restylane family products.

Olga also uses a non hyaluronic acid fillers, such as  Radiesse, Bellafill and Sculptra.

Radiesse dermal filler is used to fill moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.  Radiesse is composed of Calcium Hydroxylapatite  and is naturally absorbed and removed by the body over a period of 18 months to 2 years.

SCULPTRA

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid that helps gradually replace lost collagen. Sculptra is safe and absorbed naturally by the body. The effects can last up to three years or longer. Most patients require 3 Sculptra® treatments, scheduled 4-6 weeks apart to achieve maximum long-term results. Sculptra® treatments gradually take effect as collagen develops under the skin’s surface.

KYBELLA

Kybella is injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve your profile.

The active ingredient in Kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, it destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING

SkinPen is a microneedling device clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars, minimize fine line and wrinkles, improve the appearance of acne scars and rejuvenate aging skin.

Nova THREADS

NovaThreads are absorbable sutures that are made from a biocompatible material called PDO (polydioxanone) designed to lift the skin tissue, add volume, improve skin laxity and promote collagen.  NovaThreads consist of small needles or cannulas loaded with PDO threads. The needles are inserted into the skin leaving the thread behind when they are pulled out. The sutures remain in place for about four to six months, after which point they gradually dissolve. The results typically last for a year or more.

There are three different types of NovaThreads and two categories of facial and body procedures (collagen stimulation and lifting) that they are used for.

Barbed PDO threads are excellent to lift and tighten sagging skin. They are used for lifting  brows, cheeks, jowls, upper neck, the knee, buttock and breast areas.

Smooth PDO threads are excellent for skin tightening effect. They are placed in a mesh pattern around the face, neck and body to improve fine lines and skin texture.

Twisted PDO threads are smooth threads which have been coiled.  They are used for the nasolabial folds, marionette areas and lips for subtle volumization.

VI PEEL

The VI Peel is a chemical solution consisting of a blend of powerful ingredients that helps improve skin tone and texture. It improves fine lines and wrinkles, and restores a more even skin tone by reducing age spots and sun damage. This peel is sub-dermal which means it peels more than just the top layer giving you “baby skin”. It “peels” away surface damage and lightens underneath damage.

Asclera

Asclera injection is a sclerosing solution that we use to treat small veins in your legs.

It works by damaging the endothelium, the inside lining of blood vessels. This causes blood platelets and cellular debris to attach to the lining of the vessels. Eventually, cellular debris and platelets cause the blood vessel to clot. Over time, the clotted vein will be replaced with tissue.
