WHAT IS HYPERHIDROSIS?
Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, is a medical condition that affects 5% of the population all around the world. BOTOX injections are safe and effective for those experiencing profuse sweating in the underarms, hands, and feet.
HOW DOES BOTOX TREAT EXCESSIVE UNDERARM SWEATING?
BOTOX is a purified protein that blocks the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. By interrupting this chemical messenger, BOTOX prevents sweat production at the injection site. A single treatment of several injections is typically sufficient to reduce sweating for several months; however, follow-up sessions are usually necessary to maintain results. The number of BOTOX units used, injection site, and frequency of treatment will vary with each patient.
WHAT IS BOTOX HYPERHIDROSIS TREATMENT LIKE?
